Really Unique Art

Here’s something I wish I thought of.

DNA 11, creates personalized art pieces based on DNA or finger prints. Using a simple method of collection, as easy as swiping the inside of your mouth with a swab, the company harvests a sample of your DNA to capture the genetic fingerprint and transform it into an artistic representation of your life code.
This ushers in a new form of democratizing art: Instead of the artist and his uniqueness, the art piece solely showcases the uniqueness of the owner.

You can even have a piece commissioned that does a side by side analysis of your DNA and that of a significat other. Pieces aren’t cheap however. DNA portraits start at $390.

It is pretty intresting to see how far we have come with technology. This idea is intriguing and brings out both a creative and biological outlook in life. Although it is quite expensive it will sure grasp the attention of many and would even make a nice gift especially for someone who loves creativity and/or biology. I would like to have my DNA personalized and see my individuality in a creative form.
